This policy describes how ShowcaseLoop ("we", "us") — operated by an independent, registered sole proprietorship acting as data controller; registration details available on request — handles your information when you use our website and service. Questions or requests: hello@showcaseloop.com.

1. What we collect

• Account data — email address, name and authentication details when you sign up.
• Content you upload — listing photos, property details, branding assets (logo, headshot, contact details) used to generate your videos. Upload only content you have the right to share; photos of identifiable people require their consent.
• Usage & billing data — generated jobs, credit balance and transaction records. Payments are processed by our payment provider as merchant of record; we never receive or store card numbers.
• Support data — messages you send us via support tickets or email.
• Technical data — server logs (IP address, timestamps) kept briefly for security and abuse prevention, and privacy-friendly, cookie-less analytics on this website (aggregate page views; no cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers).

2. How we use it (and legal bases)

• To generate your videos and operate your account (performance of our contract with you).
• To process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, secure the service and provide support (contract and legitimate interests).
• To send service emails — job completion, billing, security (contract). Marketing emails are opt-in (consent) and every one has an unsubscribe link.
• To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting records.

3. AI processing and model training

Your photos and job settings are processed by the cloud infrastructure and third-party AI model providers we use to render videos — solely to generate your videos. We do not use your photos or videos to train AI models, and we engage our AI providers under terms that restrict them to processing your content only to provide the service to us, not for training their models or any other purpose. AI output is generated automatically; you review it, and no decision producing legal effects about you is made solely by automated means.

4. Sharing and processors

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with the processors required to run ShowcaseLoop, each bound to use it only on our behalf and under instructions:

• Cloud hosting, storage and CDN for the app, media and delivery.
• Database and authentication infrastructure.
• GPU compute and AI model providers that render video, voiceover and music.
• Payment processing (merchant of record).
• Email delivery for service and (if opted in) marketing email.

We also disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights, and, if the business is sold or merged, to the successor under this policy. A current list of processors is available on request.

5. International transfers

Our providers operate globally, so your data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where EU/UK law applies, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Storage, retention and security

Photos and generated videos are stored so you can re-download and re-edit them. You can archive videos you no longer need from your dashboard at any time. If you delete your account, access is disabled immediately, published videos are unpublished, and we permanently delete your content and personal data within 90 days — a window we use to resolve any outstanding billing disputes or refund claims — except records we must keep for legal, billing or security reasons. We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls and isolation between customers — but no system is perfectly secure, so keep your own copies of original photos. If a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location (e.g. GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your supervisory authority. We do not sell or "share" personal data as defined by the CCPA, and we do not discriminate for exercising your rights. Email hello@showcaseloop.com and we will respond within 30 days.

8. Children

The service is for business use and not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies & analytics consent

This marketing website sets no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. With your consent (choosing "Allow" in the banner), we load privacy-friendly, cookie-less web analytics — aggregate page views only, no ads, no cross-site tracking. Decline and nothing loads. Change your choice anytime via "Cookie preferences" in the footer. The app uses strictly necessary cookies for authentication.
